Mt. Ellens
The image of the Mountain has universal significance. Drawing with poster paint over graffiti or torn posters or even, when I can find them, blank spaces intended for posters, adds a thought to the hysteria of the city. I had come across the Ellen's bill board 24 Aug. It was blank. I drew on it the image of the mountain. Returned on the 27th, it had been blanked out. I redrew. Blanked again 2 days later. Redrew. Discovered the bill board had been blacked out 31st. Soon the Mountain re emerged white in a night sky. Found blacked out again at dawn, 4 Sept. Mountain re emerged by early morning. What happens next?
Below, # 1 thru 10 illustrate the context and technique of the drawing by Ellen's.
